Omnicast’s impressive Federation feature allows independent SV-3200 appliances to be connected and managed as though they were a unified system. Unlike any other hybrid DVR platform available, unbounded scalability and growth is possible as needs arise.
Modular by Design
Built-in hot-swappable expansion ports allow the SV-3200 to host up to four video encoder modules for a total of up to 16 analog video channels.
High-Quality Video Compression
Using the H.264 high profile compression codec (MPEG4 Part 10), the SV-3200 can reduce storage requirements by over 50% when compared to a compliant MPEG4 SP codec. It also supports MJPEG compression profiles.
IP Camera Support
The SV-3200 can manage configuration, recording and streaming of up to 24 IP cameras and customers are given the freedom to choose their preferred hardware thanks to Omnicast’s pioneering open architecture. Direct connectivity of up to eight IP cameras is supported via a built-in eight port Ethernet switch, eliminating the need for any additional external switch.
