IONODES Appoints Frederic Bastien and Vahid Jozi to its Board of Directors

New board members bring successful track records in tech and SaaS expertise to accelerate IONODES’ growth.

Montreal, QC, Canada: IONODES, an industry leader in smart and connected video solutions, announces the appointment of two new board members, Frederic Bastien et Vahid Jozi. These new Board members bring with them a unique perspective and extensive industry knowledge, helping the company’s mission to drive business transformation through innovative IoT video and SaaS solutions.

Frederic Bastien is a serial tech entrepreneur, angel investor and advisor to over a dozen startups.  As its founder and CEO, he led Mnubo as a dominant player in the Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things space which spearheaded its $100M+ acquisition by Aspen Technology.  Frederic is recognized for his passion for innovation, product strategy and international commercialization.  Frederic currently sits on several Board of Directors including Ange Quebec and ENCQOR and was the recipient of the 2014 E&Y Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award for Quebec.

Vahid Jozi is a serial founder, seasoned product leader and has held leadership roles with several successful tech startups.  He combines his passion for building products, growth, and strategic go-to-market techniques, with all the learnings he has amassed through several successful exits, to provide a powerful and unique perspective to early-stage organizations.  Vahid is selective with his engagements, only participating where he feels he can make a real difference.  He is currently an active board member and advisor to various startups and funds.
