Many Genetec™ Security Center deployments have areas in which it is useful to share live video and security information. These areas often share a number of characteristics that make it difficult or ineffective to deploy a full client workstation:
A Secure Display Station can be mounted to the back of a monitor and connected to the secure network. Trained Security Center operators can then control which cameras are displayed on each tile of a video wall layout. Security Center can also send video automatically based on threat levels, schedules and macros. Synergis access control events can also drive video displayed.

The ION-E100-HD is a dedicated fanless & ultra compact video encoder designed specifically for use with most HDMI sources such as desktop computer outputs, server outputs and HDMI cameras. The ION-E100-HD is capable of encoding H.264 streams at resolutions up to 1080p30 / 720p60 for transmission over IP networks, to NVR servers for recording or IP video decoders for display. They can be managed directly through Genetec™ Security Center.
The IONODES ION-E100-HD can take the video output of a Security Desk workstation and convert it to a video stream. Security Center can manage, record and distribute this stream like a camera. This is often used for supervisory and training purposes.
Appropriate use of cameras and the VMS is extremely important in Casinos. All operator actions must be recorded for use in investigations. The ION-E100-HD provides a seamless mechanism to do this. Security Center privileges can be used to ensure that only Investigators have access to this video.
