IONODES Secure Display Stations have been chosen as the spot monitor solution for a large European supermarket chain

The IONODES Secure Display Stations were selected for display of high-quality live video to incoming customers at more than 50 locations, offering a theft deterrent solution promoting a safe environment for customers and staff.

For this project, the customer plans to deploy Secure Display Stations in more than 50 supermarket locations. The devices are being installed to serve as spot monitors, informing incoming customers of the video surveillance system in place.  Screens installed at supermarket entrances display a layout of key cameras, shown to be an effective way of deterring theft activities. The IONODES Secure Display Stations have been selected for their ease of installation behind screens and monitors, their capacity to display live, high-resolution video from selected cameras and for their ability to include marketing material through the image carousel feature.

Secure Display Stations are compact, dedicated and reliable devices designed for deployment in practically any environment. The devices access video streams directly from the cameras through the Onvif and RTSP standards, providing high-quality, low-latency live viewing, custom layouts and no need of user intervention once setup.  The ION-R100S, ION-R200 and ION-R300 Secure Display Stations can display up to 32 IP video streams, on one, two or three 4K monitors, and offer high display flexibility with more than 18 different video tiles layouts and 5 user-configurable views.
